After the Storm…

For all of us who love Barra, whether we live there full or part-time, whether we’re occasional visitors or regulars, it’s important to remember that Barra needs us now more than ever.  There’s still no place quite like Barra and while the storm may have changed the face temporarily, it hasn’t changed the people.  They’re still there, with all their warmth and generosity and spirit, so it’s up to us to show them how much we care.  It’s because of them that Barra will come back, better than ever.   Barra has never been about the buildings, it has always been about the people.  So let’s make a vow to do whatever we can to help Barra bounce back.  First and foremost, we can show our support by coming back!  And when we do, let’s all find out what we can bring when we come and then what we can do once we get there.  Barra has taken care of all of us for so long.  Now’s our chance to help take care of Barra.  Thanks.
